Kill Your Idols

Kill Your Idols is a hardcore punk band from New York, influence by other such bands as Black Flag, The Descendents and Fugazi. They have released numerous CDs and LPs.
As of January, 2006 they will have been together for ten years and will celebrate by playing an anniversary show with friends Inhuman, Ensign, Two Man Advantage, Shell Shock and others at CBGB. On October 2,2006 the band announced on their myspace page that Summer 2007, the band will break up. Gary Bennett will continue to play in Deathcycle, along with current Kill Your Idols bassist Paul Delaney and Ron Grimaldi; the "fifth Beatle" of Kill Your Idols. Vinnie Value will be playing with SSSP, a side project started with ex-Kill Your Idols bassist Mike Delorenzo. Brian Meehan will continue along with Celebrity Murders, also with Delorenzo. Andy West will be taking a much needed break from the music scene.
