Kieth Merrill

Kieth Merrill is an American filmaker who has worked as a writer, director, and producer in the film industry since 1967. He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Director's Guild of America, and received an Academy Award for The Great American Cowboy (1973) and a nomination for Amazon (1997). He is a founding partner of Odyssey, which pioneered IMAX film technology.[1] He is also a founding member of Audience Alliance Motion Picture Studios[1], a production company committed to family-friendly entertainment that allows audience members to invest in and contribute to the production of their films.

Kieth Merrill is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has made films specifically for the church in addition to his more mainstream projects.
