Kieran McGeeney "Geezer" is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays midfield and half back for the Armagh Senior football team and holds legendary status within GAA as one of the best half backs of the modern game. McGeeney is the secretary for the Gaelic Players Association, an association that was co-founded by his Na Fianna team-mate Dessie Farrell.

Kieran McGeeney captained Armagh to there first and only All-Ireland victory in 2002 and won three All-Stars and Ulster championship medals. He also received the 2002 Texaco Footballer of the Year award. McGeeney plays his club football for Na Fianna on the northside of Dublin and has represented Ireland on a number of occasions in the annual International Rules series against Australia. McGeeney was Irish captain for the 2006 International Rules Irish team who faced Australia in the first test at Pearse Stadium and in the second test in Croke Park and has currently made twelve appearances for his country making his debut back in 1998. McGeeney is currently vice-captain of the Armagh senior football team.
