[edit] Biography
Williams is best known as a member of the group 3LW. Besides her work as a recording artist, she also starred in 2003's The Cheetah Girls with 3LW member Adrienne Bailon, Sabrina Bryan, and Raven-Symoné. The Cheetah Girls released their holiday album in October 2005 entitled Cheetah-Licious Christmas.
Kiely was a keen vocalist and performer as a child and her cousin name is Diana Marine. When she was just five years old she appeared in a TV pilot produced by Robert DeNiro and starring Lawrence Fishburne. Because her mother worked with recording artists and there was a recording studio at home, Kiely was surrounded by music and musicians throughout her childhood, which she aptly describes as a trial period of "listening and learning". When she told her mother she wanted to be in a group, the idea seemed to fit, and Michele took the project on with much enthusiasm, aided by her sister Tse, who also became heavily involved. Big Cat Management shares activities with Tse’s production company Nine Lives, and it is this second company that is responsible for setting up auditions to recruit additional members, which are advertised on the Internet, on flyers, at different performing art schools and by word-of-mouth. Kiely was adopted by her sister Michele as a baby after their mother died. Kiely and Adrienne feel they're more like sisters than bandmates.
