Following additions should be made:

  1. Borispolskaya (open since august 2005) future stations Telichka; Lvovskaya Brama; Vyrlitsa.
  2. Breakdown between under-construction/planned/proposed.
  3. Possibly: Locations of depots.
  4. Also Kyiv -> Kiev; Dnipro -> Dnieper.

On the whole an excellent job -Kuban kazak 13:20, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

  • It will look nicer with Kiev city boundary and boundaries of rajons.
  • I would not put fast tram on this map, because it's not a metro but rather a tram.
  • Guys at the forum of http://www.metropoliten.kiev.ua/ should be of great help with all technical metro details.

Thanks for the comments. I believe some of the newly opened stations are already on the map (specifically Telichka and Lvivska Brama), but I will add whatever is missing. The only problem with city boundaries is that I need a good map to take it from. The other map that I drew of the Kiev raions does not match in any way closely enough to this map (as the only way to compare would be by the river). But I will try to work this out. Thanks for the link to the forum. mno 08:13, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
Well if you hold out until 14th of march you can add Borispolskaya and Vyrlitsa in one go. Anyway make sure you specify that Telichaka and Lvovskaya are closed like I did on the template of Syretsko-Pecherskaya Line --Kuban kazak 16:10, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
I don't think I'll wait that long, unless it will take so much time to get detailed information from people. mno 22:51, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
Also is it just me, or does it really appear that the station Dnepr is on the wrong side of the river? --Kuban kazak 00:31, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
Good point, it's missing. There is a reason it's called "a3" still ;) mno 02:59, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
I take it we are waiting for Vyrlitsa...--Kuban Cossack 13:55, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
Heh, no, I'm actually not waiting for anything. Sorry for the delays. I only work on WP items when I have some spare time, and unfortunately rigth now I'm a bit pressed with mid-terms coming up and some papers due. I will put up a4 as soon as I can. mno 22:23, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
Well I would assume that it be wise to label it as completed considering that 8th of March is so close.--Kuban Cossack 23:35, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
Good point, sure. mno 08:31, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
In any case that talk above is ancient history [1] now... --Kuban Cossack 01:02, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Kiev boundry

Hi all, I've now got some time to finish off the map of the metro and add in the last changes. I'm looking for a good map of Kiev to repalce the relatively ambiguous green area I have right now. The best source so far seems to be this map here: [2]. On that map, you see the yellow and green areas. I am assuming that the yellow areas are the populated parts, while the green are the forested/unpopulated parts. What I'm wondering is what area should I use on the metro map? If I use the actual boundries of Kiev, the metro seems to cover very little and it could be mislead people into thinking the metro system is much smaller than it really is. I am leaning towards showing only the populated (yellow) areas. What do you think?
