Kidzone Urban Ministries

Kidzone Urban Ministries is the outreach ministry of Koinonia Christian Fellowship. It is focused on reaching the community in the Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding area with the both the love, and word of God. The ministry began in the summer of 1995 as a weekly summer out reach program. Since that time this program has grown to a weekly program at three different community centers in Kitchener through out the year. Every Tuesday and Thursday, the Kidzone team goes to community centers to hold an event where the kids are taught the word of God and how it applies to their lives. Music, dance, drama and also games are used to teach the kids the bible. The kidzone team consists of both male and female leaders so that the kids will have the choice to talk to a person of the same sex that they feel most comfortable with.
