[edit] Career
Kid Omega began training at age 16 at Billy Blade's wrestling school in Santa Maria, CA. Since his training concluded there, he moved south to Orange County and trained under Martin Marin (King Ali Baba in Japan/Mexico) and Lil' Cholo. He also spent a brief time training at the Ultimo Dragon Gym in Mexico.
[edit] Early Years 2001-2002
Despite winning the CWA Goldenstate title in his first night of wrestling. Kid Omega never got much success in his early days. He was pushed down into the undercard, mostly due to his young looks and small frame (at the time he was only about 160 lbs.) Kid Omega would wrestle for 10 different promotions in his first year of wrestling, all in California. His highest profile match was at a UPW show when he wrestled Matrix in a tournament that was crowning the Zero-One/NWA/UPW International Lightheavyweight Champion, which was eventually won in japan by Spanky/Brian Kendrick. It was shortly after this time Vic Grimes suggested that he get a mask and shoulder pads, similar to what fellow California Indy wrestler Super Dragon wore.
[edit] Renewal Years 2003-2004
In December of 2002 Kid Omega and 9 other wrestlers toured Mexico and trained at the Ultimo Dragon Gym. During the tour he wrestled for Toryumon, CMLL, and AAA. It was there he got his first mask and shoulder pads. The first mask resembled the bottom half of a ninja mask, and for several years was noticeably troublesome during his matches. It was also during this time that Kid Omega left CWA training and went to WPW to learn Lucha Libre style of wrestling.
[edit] Ranger Years 2005-current
With the help of Billy Blade, Kid Omega got noticed with All Pro Wrestling, and they added him to their roster, he had a tryout match several years early to no response. But is was his performance in a 4 way dance featuring Dana Lee, and Jardi Frantz, that they took notice of him. Even giving him a stable based on his gimmick, teaming him up with Great Tenchi, and Kyu Ketsuki. Ketsuki and he would go on to win the APW Tag team titles, the same week that Kid Omega won the WPW Lightweight Title. Kid Omega along side Mike Mennace reopened up CWA and a training school which Kid Omega was the head trainer, where Kid Omega would recapture the CWA Goldenstate Title just over 5 years after he won it in his first match.

[edit] Gimmick Evolution
- Hardy WannabeOriginally Kid Omega's gimmick was derived from the North Carolina promotion OMEGA which was started by Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy. The gimmick was originally that he was similar to their style and patterend himself after them. He wrestled in Jeans and a Hot Topic T-Shirt.
- Martial Arts StudentSeveral Months after his debut he switched to a karate-esque gimmick. He had white karate pants and a black belt. Other then the occasional kicks he really didn't display much to the gimmick.
- NinjaAfter his trip to Mexico he went from "martial arts student" to ninja. Now wearing a half mask, and body armour, he now had a unique look. Originally his gimmick in WPW with this new gear was that he bowed to his opponents, constantly.
- Anime Super Hero/Power Ranger After receiving cat calls from fans in WPW calling him a power ranger, he decided that the only way to get them to stop teasing, was to make their agree with them. Around 2004 he started doing posedowns that lasted much longer then they should (sometimes minutes long), this was when Kid Omega first started to get popular in WPW (as well as get noticed by other promotions). The original idea came from Dragonball Z, with a team called the Ginryu Force who often did pose downs and froze themselves while the rest of the world just stared at them.
