Kid Crusader is a member of the Titans East, debuting in Teen Titans #42. Originally, the character was named "Choir Boy",[1] as stated by Dan Didio in DC Nation. However, Wizard #180 released the design of Kid Crusader, and his initial design. The character, as described by Tony Daniel, is the Hispanic arch-enemy of Kid Devil. Believing Kid Devil to be the face of evil, Kid Crusader will do whatever it takes to see that he is eliminated.

[edit] Character History

In Teen Titans #44, Kid Crusader reveals that his devotion to killing Kid Devil started when he stumbled into Kid Crusader's sunday school asking for help. In #43, he subdues Kid Devil in church, and takes him back to Deathstroke's tower. He has him chained to a cross and recites a spell that turns Kid Devil back to human, with the intention of killing him before his demon form can return, thus "saving" his soul from the hands of the demon Neron. The story is ongoing.

[edit] Trivia

A solicitation for Teen Titans #43 has referred to the character by the name of "Alter Boy".[2]
