Kick at the Darkness
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Kick At the Darkness is a 1991 tribute album to Bruce Cockburn.
It includes Barenaked Ladies' rendition of "Lovers in a Dangerous Time", one of their first significant chart hits in Canada. The title comes from a line in that song, "gotta kick at the darkness 'til it bleeds daylight".
The album was released in 1991 on Intrepid Records. Due to the album's success, Intrepid compiled a Joni Mitchell tribute album, Back to the Garden, the following year.
