Kichijōji Station
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Kichijōji Staion (吉祥寺駅 Kichijōji eki?) is located on the JR Chūō Main Line and Keio Inokashira Line, south west of Shinjuku in Tokyo, Japan.
The city’s existence owes much to the fresh spring in Inoshikira joining the Kanda river, which is now part of Inoshikira park. The name Kichijoji, or God of happiness, is a popular name throughout Japan. However, this Kichijoji, situated close to Tokyo, was always a center for education and the arts. Other than the park and the Studio Ghibli Museum, Kichijoji’s attraction lies in its diversity.
