Kichadi

Kichadi is a Keralite dish (south India) made of curd and cucumber in raw or cooked form. Kichadi is often served as part of the Sadhya.

Ingredients
- Cucumber - 1 medium size
- Green chillies - 4
- Curd - 1 small cup
- Coconut oil
- dry chillies
- curry leaves
- Salt - to taste
Preparation
- Cut Cucumber into small pieces and cook in salt and water.
- Grind Green chillies, Mustard and Coconut and add to cucumber.
- Cook for 5 minutes and then add Curd.
- Low the fire and keep on stirring till it is just about to boil.
- Remove from the flame.
- Season it with dry chillies, mustard and curry leaves.
