Kibblesworth

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kibblesworth is a village situated within the borders of Gateshead, England.

Like most villages in the area it grew up to support local coal mining activity, which has now completely vanished from the area.

It is close to Lamesley and Beamish Museum.

The Bowes Railway used to run to the South of the village. This has long since gone however a cycle path now runs along the former trackbed.
