Kianna Alarid (born May 30, 1978) is the lead singer and also plays bass guitar for the band Tilly and the Wall from Omaha, Nebraska. She was formerly in a band called Magic Kiss with members of Park Ave. and The Faint, and before that, a hardcore band called Project 356.[1]

She performed vocals on the song, "The Absence of God" from More Adventurous with Rilo Kiley.

Dated snowboarder and snowboard designer TJ Schneider for at least two years. They broke up in December 2006.

Like her bandmate Jamie Pressnall, Kianna is a vegetarian.

  • She has naturally black hair, but it has been dyed platinum blonde for several years.
  • Has many tattoos, including a 3/4 sleeve tattoo of horses on her right arm, and a tattoo of her mother with the Spanish word "Madre" (meaning "mother") on her left arm.
  • Has a septum piercing.
  • Kianna is of Native American and Spanish heritage. Much of her family is from New Mexico.
  • Before joining Tilly and the Wall full time, Kianna worked at Village Toymaker in Omaha.[2]

  • Kianna has an orange cat named Hobbes.
