Khushi (Urdu:ﻰﺸﻭﺨ, Hindi: खुशि) is a 2003 Indian film, directed by SJ Suryaah. The film stars Kareena Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, and Amrish Puri. It is narrated by Amitabh Bachchan. The film was released in Tamil and Telugu, before being released in Hindi.

[edit] Synopsis
Khushi Singh (Kareena Kapoor) is the only daughter of Vir Bhadra Singh (Amrish Puri) who asks her to marry a man he has found for her. She agrees to his proposal, but on the eve of her wedding the groom leaves her. A frustrated Khushi decides to resume her studies at the University of Mumbai where she meets Karan. They become good friends who have similar interests and friends. After an argument they become separated from each other. However, they must stay together in order to marry their friends. Vir Bhadra Singh revolts against Karan, and it is revealed that he had an affair with another student at the university. The ending of the film focuses on whether Khushi and Karen get back together or not.
