'Khullar' is a Punjabi Khatri clan.

[edit] Place of Origin
Prior to the Partition in 1947, Khatri clans, such as Churamani, Nanda, Khullar, Jerath, Chopra and Vig were particularly associated with the city of Ludhiana in Eastern Punjab (today in the Indian state of Punjab (India). Khullars are also settled in Hoshiarpur, jallandhar for the last three centuries. Khullars of Basti Guzan-Jallandhar have gone to other places like Haryana, Himachal, Delhi due to their Govt. service postings and have settled there. Some have gone to Canada, USA, Africa in search of jobs and have settled there.

Like most Khatri clans, the Khullar clan is almost exclusively Hindu. However, a small minority follow Sikhism as well.
