KHTE is a commercial radio station located in England, Arkansas, broadcasting to the Little Rock, Arkansas area on 96.5 FM. KHTE airs a rhythmic Top 40 music format branded as "Hot 96.5".
Because of its format, KHTE is in competition with Urban station KIPR due to its Hip Hop and R&B music playlist, while it competes with KLAL based on some pop music in the playlist. It is home to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, which mostly airs on Urban-formatted stations; as such, KHTE is the only Rhythmic-formatted station to carry this affiliation (but it was home to the Doug Banks Show years earlier).
