is a town and a notified area committee in Pulwama district in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.

As of 2001 India censusGRIndia, Khrew had a population of 7208. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Khrew has an average literacy rate of 51%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 63%, and female literacy is 39%. In Khrew, 12% of the population is under 6 years of age.

Khrew is also famous for an important temple of Kashmiri Pandits.
Here on a hillock, presumed to be volcanic, is a temple which is dedicated to Jawala Bhagwati - the Goddess of fire. The temple is reached by a flight of stone steps. Mela Jawala Mukhi is held here annually on the 14th day of the bright fortnight of Savan (July-August) when pilgrims visit this shrine from all corners of the country. At top of the hillock is a beautiful spring where people take a dip before making the ascent.
