[edit] Article's first sentence

I had a little bit of trouble with the first sentence of this article, and I've tried to rephrase it to make the context more clear. Since I don't know anything about the topic, I've left the rephrasing here; please feel free to add it to the article if I got everything correct.

  • The Khowa, also known as the Bugun, are a tribe of indigenous people living in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. They live mainly in the sub-tropical Thrinzo circle in the sub-divisions of Wanghoo, Kaspi, Singchung and Tenga, within the Bichum and Teliga circles of the West Kameng district.

I also noticed the "purple and heckered jackets" -- should this be "checkered"? -- Creidieki 19:54, 9 October 2005 (UTC)
