Khordha is a town and a notified area committee in Khordha district in the Indian state of Orissa.

As of 2001 India censusGRIndia, Khordha had a population of 39,034. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Khordha has an average literacy rate of 78%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 84%, and female literacy is 72%. In Khordha, 11% of the population is under 6 years of age.
It is famous for being the last place to be conqured by the British in 1803.It is famous for Barunei temple atop the Barunei Hill.
