Talk:KhmerOS

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Okay, I think the issue is sorted out. I have managed to get the original entry at http://www.apc.org/english/news/index.shtml?x=3861572 released under the GFDL. Please see the comment at the end of the page. So guess it's okay now. --fredericknoronha 04:38, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

--- Hello. This article was deleted. A pity, since the group publishing it has no issues with copyright. Can you please re-include it? There seems to be a technical glitch between the GFDL and CreativeCommons. How do we resolve this? FN --fredericknoronha 17:50, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

Frederick FN Noronha to permissions, Karen More options 18-Jul Dear Wikimedia: I am copying this note to Karen Higgs of APC.org with a request to specifically giving permission for the re-use of this article in Wikipedia. KhmerOS

Hi, I noticed the article KhmerOS, and it seems that it consists of copyrighted text borrowed from from http://www.apc.org/english/news/index.shtml?x=3861572], which has a Creative Commons, Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.5 license. As a copyright violation, KhmerOS appears to qualify for speedy deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. KhmerOS has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message.

If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GFDL, you can comment to that effect on Talk:KhmerOS. If the article has already been deleted, but you have a proper release, you can reenter the content at KhmerOS, after describing the release on the talk page.
