Khmuic languages

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Khmuic languages are a subgroup of the Mon-Khmer languages.

  • Khao (Khao, Bit)
  • Mlabri (Mlabri, Yumbri)
  • Xinh Mul (Khang, Phong-Kniang, Puoc)
  • Khmu' (Khmu (Khmu'), Khuen, O'du, Mal, Phray (Pray 3), Phai, Lua (Lua', Pray 2))

The Khmu is the only language in the group that has a large number of speakers, while, e.g., the Mlabri language is only spoken by a few hundreds.
