Hello and welcome to Wikipedia!
Here are some tips to help you get started:
- Try the Tutorial, and feel free to experiment in the test area.
- If you need help, post a question at the Help Desk
- Eventually, you might want to read the Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines.
- Remember Wikipedia:Neutral point of view
- Explore, be bold in editing pages, and, most importantly, have fun!
Good luck!
P.S. One last helpful hint. To sign your posts like I did above (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).

[edit] WikiProject Florida
Hi there! I see you've edited a lot of articles about Florida. Has anybody ever invited you to Wikipedia:WikiProject Florida, the project to improve information about the state of Florida? --Tetraminoe 10:29, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] ibook g4
Hey, I noticed that you appear to be using an ibook g4. I also have an ibook g4, and it's got 256 mb of RAM. I'm just wondering if you know if I would experience any major performance improvement if I upgraded the RAM? Thanks! (I usually don't too many programs, I always run Mail.app in the background and sometimes MSN messenger.) - Abscissa 23:45, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:FNFlogo.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:FNFlogo.gif. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 09:04, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Inducted members of the International Hockey Hall of Fame
I have added four sources to the Inducted members of the International Hockey Hall of Fame page that is up for deletion. Could you change your vote back to keep based on these sources? --JohnnyCanuck 06:25, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Tntlogo.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Tntlogo.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. MECU≈talk 22:24, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
