Khalid Rashid is a citizen of Pakistan, who was arrested on October 31, 2005 in South Africa.[1]. It has been alleged that he was subjected to extraordinary rendition out of South Africa to an unknown destination.

Some reports assert that Rashid was transferred to the United States Guantanamo Bay detainment camps, in Cuba.[1] Other reports have claimed that the Department of Defense stopped transferring prisoners to Guantanamo in 2004.
