Khalid Hassanali, son of former President of Trinidad and Tobago, Noor Hassanali, is a Vice-President at Petrotrin, the Petroleum Company of Trinidad and Tobago (a State-owned oil company). He is currently on secondment (assignment) as President/CEO of Evolving TecKnologies and Enterprise Development Company of Trinidad and Tobago (eTecK), another State-owned venture that is responsible for the industrial development of the non-energy sector of Trinidad and Tobago. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of the Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago. Hassanali is also a member of the Boards of the Point Lisas Industrial Port Development Co (PLIPDECO), Metal Industries Company (MIC)and ANSA McAL Chemicals Ltd. He is a former 1st Vice President of the South Trinidad Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

Hassanali's university education is in both Engineering and Law and he completed his secondary schooling at Queen's Royal College in Port of Spain. He has three children, Behzad, Faria and Aadam.
