KGRB (AM)

KGRB was put on the air in the early 1960's by Bob Burdette with a little 500 watt AM station in West Covina, CA.
The playlist consisted of Big Band Music & Swing Music 78's and albums.
One notable quirk of the staff and management was their dependence on old equipment. They used turntables with 78 RPM Gramophone records and large reel-to-reel tape recorders long after most stations had migrated to compact discs and Fidelipac.
The station was sold to a Spanish language broadcaster in the 1990's.
