The call letters KFUO are used by two radio stations in Clayton, Missouri. Both are owned by the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS).

KFUO (AM) is located at 850 kHz. AM 850 KFUO Radio is the nation’s longest continually running religious radio station. Richard Kretzschmar, John Fritz and Dr. Walter Maier, who originated the famed Lutheran Hour broadcast, founded the AM station in 1924. Three years later, they moved the station to its permanent home on the Concordia Seminary campus in St. Louis. KFUO added an FM channel Classic 99.1 in 1948.
Today, KFUO Radio’s nationally-recognized and award-winning programs broadcast the truth of God’s Word on more than 500 stations throughout the United States. Individuals from 129 countries have contacted us about our worldwide broadcasts over the Internet. The faithful prayers and support of listeners and friends enable KFUO to comfort the grief-stricken, educate the doubtful, and feed the spirits of listeners around the world. KFUO Radio boasts a wide array of audio resources from worship services, to in-depth study of God's Word. KFUO-FM is located at 99.1 MHz FM and plays classical music as "Classic 99 KFUO-FM". KFUO-FM broadcasts with an effective radiated power of 100 kW. KFUO-FM is the oldest FM station west of the Mississippi River, broadcasting since 1948. Studios are located on the campus of Concordia Seminary [1], one of two graduate theological seminaries operated by the Lutheran Church -- Missouri Synod [2]. Its transmitter is located in St. Louis.
KFUO began as a listener supported station, but moved to a commercial format several years ago.
