Title Trainee Detective Constable
Portrayed by Cat Simmons

Trainee Detective Constable Kezia Walker is a character in the ITV drama The Bill. She is played by Cat Simmons. Due to DC Walker being a CID officer she does not have a call sign and is referred to in radio communications simply as "TDC Walker". She joined the series in June 2006.

[edit] Personal life and background

Kezia's passion in life is nicking villains - she's a natural thief taker and a gutsy, working-class girl. She apparently was adopted and brought up in a care home.

Kezia arrived at Sun Hill fresh out of uniform, and still on her trainee period. Having grown tired of passing cases onto CID and never seeing the end result, Kezia decided to become a detective herself in order to hopefully see more results. Upon arriving at Sun Hill she immediately rushed into a rape case, and became obsessed with catching the man responsible.

[edit] Relationships

Kezia was most recently in a relationship with Sgt. Dale Smith, but Smithy broke up with her on 15 February 2007.

[edit] Fan reaction

Kezia Walker is unquestionably one of the most unpopular characters in the history of The Bill. Described as "dull and bland" by popular Bill expert Umbongo, Kezia has not won many friends amongst veiwers of The Bill. Indeed she has been unfavourably compared to Lance Powell another hugely unpopular Bill character. Kezia's relationship with SGT Dale Smith has also been criticised with many calling it "cringeworthy and about as entertaining as watching paint dry"
