Keynsham railway station is a railway station serving the town of Keynsham, Somerset. It is located on the London-Bristol and Bristol-Southampton trunk routes.
Keynsham station was opened in 1840 but was re-named "Keynsham and Somerdale" in 1925 with the opening of the Fry's chocolate factory at Somerdale. In 1974 its name reverted to Keynsham[1].
Passenger services are operated by First Great Western.

Keynsham Station has at least an hourly service in each direction from 07 40 to around 22 00, Monday to Saturday, with roughly a 2 hourly service on Sunday. It has a wide range of destinations which include, Brighton, Southampton, Weymouth, Cardiff Central, and of course Bristol Temple Meads. The majority of its services are a combination of 2 hourly Weymouth trains and 2 hourly Southampton trains or an hourly service to Bristol in the other direction.
It is common to see a range of different train classes. These include: Class 153, Class 156, Class 158, or occasionally even two class 31's hauling 4 carriages.
