A non-commital feasibility study would give both school districts a vast amount of information that would be similar to a five or ten-year financial plan from an unbiased third party. Neither district has the employees in the Admin Office to provide that kind of detail (enrollment trends, EAV trends, revenue and expense trends, what the district's funds will look like in five or ten years alone and/or together. After the non-commital feasibility study is done, both districts can review the info with the taxpayers and decide if it warrants further investigation. It does no good to call each other names. We need to do what's best for our kids' education. If consolidation is the answer, so be it.

The section on Kewanee/Weathersfield schools is confusing, grammatically incorrect, inconcise, and generally uninformative. However, I know little about Kewanee, so I leave it to someone else to rectify. Dotcom703489 00:12, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
