[edit] Truncation on Dec 10,2005

The reasons given for the Dec 10 truncation are inconsistent with other biographical articles in Wikipedia.

The article on "L. Ron Hubbard" for example is not only considerably longer, but also contains information that could easily be moved to other articles (for example, all the discussion about Dianetics). This article also contains content that Scientology supporters would certainly consider non-NPOV.

The article about Kevin Zegers contains no content that is either patently false or in violation of copyrights. Sources have been added where appropriate and are consistent with Wikipedia standards.

Kevin Zegers is not exactly L. Ron Hubbard. You can't compare a relatively minor actor to one of the most influental religious figures of the 20th century. You have to compare him with other actors. Compare him with, say, Julia Roberts or Richard Gere, who are actors of undeniably higher stature. If we spent as much time talking about every film role of theirs in such detail (and their films were mostly all widely released and seen) than their entries would take 10 pages. For example, there is a wikipedia page for Transamerica, that's where the plot info should go. I know you mean well but something as lengthy and detailed as you wrote really belongs on a fan site (and is on the linked fansite anyway).

The format I cut it down to is pretty big (larger in size than Richard Gere) in itself for an actor who is not (yet at least) that big in stature. DocOck 19:19, 10 December 2005 (UTC)
