Kevin Joseph Sweeney (born November 16, 1963, in Bozeman, Montana), was a former professional football player who was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the 7th round of the 1987 NFL Draft. A 6'0" quarterback from Fresno State, Sweeney played two years for the Cowboys from 1987-1988. He was the 3rd ever rookie quarterback to start for the Cowboys in 1987, behind Don Meredith (1960) and Roger Staubach (1969).
