Kevin McDaid

Kevin McDaid was born on March 7, 1984 in Nigeria, but was brought up in Newcastle, England. He was best known as member of the now-defunct British boy band V, which he joined in 2003 along with four other boys. The band had three fairly successful chart hits during 2004, unfortunately they split up in February 2005, less than a year after their first single was released.
Kevin did not stay out of the public's attention for long, however. In August 2005 he was announced in The Sun newspaper as the long-term boyfriend of Westlife member Mark Feehily. They had been a couple for some time and Mark decided this was the right time for him to come out.
Kevin was involved in some controversy when it emerged that he had posed for explicit pictures for the (now defunct) gay website Ladstrip.co.uk in 2001. He was just 17 at the time. He is now a photographer himself.
