Kevin Devon Curtis (born July 17, 1978 in Murray, Utah) is a wide receiver in the NFL. He played for the St. Louis Rams through the 2006 season, but on March 15, 2007, agreed to a 6-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles. He was drafted by the Rams in the 3rd round (74th overall) in the 2003 NFL Draft. He went to Utah State. He ran a hand-timed 40-yard dash of 4.21 but a 4.43 at the Combine. At Utah State's on-campus workout, he posted times of 4.36, 4.39 and 4.34.

While Curtis was at Utah State, he was voted All-American second-team, All-Independent and National Independent Offensive Player of the Year by The NFL Draft Report. He also ranked seventh in the nation with an average of 114.36 yards per game receiving, and ranked 12th in the country with an average of 6.73 receptions per game. He also led the Aggies with 74 receptions (fifth-best season total in school history) for 1,258 yards (fifth-best in a single season) and scored 60 points to lead the team with an average of 117.4 all-purpose yards a game.

Last year, Curtis was the number three wide receiver for the Rams behind Isaac Bruce and Torry Holt. In 2004, Curtis played in all but one game, totaling 32 catches for 421 yards and 2 touchdowns. He recorded his first 100-yard game October 30th, against the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2005, when he was filling in for starter Torry Holt. He finished the game with 105 yards.

On March 15, 2007 Curtis signed a 6-year, $32 million deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, including $9.5 million in guaranteed money. [1]

  • He scored a 48 out of a possible 50 points on the Wonderlic intelligence test administered to all prospective rookies at the NFL combine.
  • He played football at Snow Junior College in Utah and was rejected by BYU football team before making the Utah State Football team.
  • He served a two year Mormon mission in London, England.
  • Both Curtis and his current Head Coach Andy Reid are members of the Mormon faith.
  • He ran the 40 yard dash in 4.43 seconds.
