Kevin Burnett (born December 24, 1982 in Carson, California) is an American football player who is currently a linebacker for the National Football League's Dallas Cowboys.

Burnett attended Dominquez High School in Compton, California. While there,in football,he was a member of the 1999 Prep Star All-America team,a second-team All-State choice,and a member of the "Best of the West" by the Long Beach Press-Telegram.He also helped lead his team to two consecutive playoff appearances.He is the cousin of NBA D-Leauge Star Amir Johnson.
