Kevin Brooks (basketball)

Kevin Brooks (b. October 12, 1969 in Beaufort, South Carolina) is a former professional American and Australian basketball player. He attended high school in White Castle, Louisiana, USA and graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, then named the University of Southwestern Louisiana.
Brooks was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 1st round as the 18th pick of the 1991 NBA Draft. From 1992–1994 he played three seasons with the Denver Nuggets. Brooks moved to Australia to play with the NBL's Adelaide 36ers in the late 1990s, where was NBL Grand Final MVP in 1998 and made the All-NBL First Team in 1999. He also played 27 games with the Sydney Kings. [1]
Brooks is the current head coach of the Australian Basketball Association Woodville Warriors. In June 2005 he joined the Stamford Grand Basketball Academy in Adelaide, South Australia as assistant coach and is coaching Saint Peter's College school A team. The program trains a future player-base for the Adelaide 36ers.
