Kevin Baldeosingh

Kevin Baldeosingh, novelist, writer, author and journalist in Trinidad and Tobago. He was born in 1963 in Trinidad and educated at the University of the West Indies, where he received a BA. He is the author of The Autobiography of Paras P (Heinemann, 1996), Virgin's Triangle (Heinemann, 1997),and The Ten Incarnations of Adam Avatar (Peepal Tree Press,2005). He has worked as a teacher, editorial writer, editor and columnist. He was the regional chairperson for the Commonwealth Writers Prize (Canada/Caribbean) for 2000 and 2001, and is currently writing for the Trinidad and Tobago Newsday as well as the Trinidad and Tobago Review. He discusses Caribbean topics and current affairs including philosophy, social psychology, literature, gender issues, politics, race, religion, and science.
