Kestilä is a municipality of Finland. It is located in the province of Oulu and is part of the Northern Ostrobothnia region.
Established in 1867, the population was 1,664 as of January 1, 2006. The municipality covers an area of 606.71 km² of which 5.58 km² is water. The population density is 2.9 inhabitants per km².
The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
