Kessler Whisky is a American blended whisky brand started by Julius Kessler in 1888 .[1] It is best known for it's slogan, "Smooth as Silk, Kessler". To get his product out, Julius Kessler went from saloon to saloon selling the whisky.[2] Julius himself, retired from his business in 1921[3]
