Kesshin

Kesshin is a small punk rock trio from Paris, France. They gained notoriety by contributing a pair of songs for the soundtrack of Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (2005)
The name is a Japanese term that means "determination" The band claims that they chose this name because of their interest in Japanese martial arts and their "straight-edge" origins.
The band also claims that their influences are essentially punk rock and melodic hardcore, some examples as quoted: Bad Religion, Good Riddance, No Use for a Name, Anti-Flag, Rise Against, Strike Anywhere, Strung Out, and Dogwood (band).
