Kersal is an area of the city of Salford in the North West of England.

Churches in Kersal include the Church of England Saint Paul's Church, and a Roman Catholic Church called Our Lady Of Dolours. There is also a synagogue called the Congregation of Spanish & Portuguese Jews.

A soap factory was established in Kersal Vale in 1920 by Alexander Tom Cussons. The factory produces the famous brands of Carex, Cussons Imperial Leather and Morning Fresh.
kersal is also home to non league side salford city fc. And is the hometown of phil bardsley who plays for manchester united. it also home to a manchester united trainig pitch and home to a sports facility complex sponsored by the fa. Kersal vale was aslo home to lord byron at one time. Manchesters main river the river irwell runs through manchester. It is home to a vast majority of manchester united fans as is most salford. The local pub is 'the kersal club'- AND IS THE BEST CLUB IN SALFORD ........u sure? . it has two main schools lower kersal primary and st.pauls primary. kersal is situated on the border of bury town prestwich and salford towns swinton and broughton.
