Kermadec Trench

The Kermadec trench is one of the deepest parts of the Pacific Ocean. It is a southward extension of the Tonga Trench, running parallel with and to the east of the Kermadec Ridge, and ends off the northwestern tip of New Zealand's North Island. Its deepest point is at a depth of 10,047 m.
