kerala congress (b) is a fraction of Kerala Congress lead by Bala krishna pillai( Former state minister) it has currently one MLA ( Ganeshan- son of balakrishnapilla) it has a long term history in kerala politics in 2006 (after falling in assembly election ) they trying to join in JANATHA DAL, but it is not approved by ldfcommitte. it has good support in some pockets in kollam district
