Some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Running Out may not be sufficiently well-known to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers, and encourages them to become Wikipedians. On Wikipedia, each user is entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopedia proper, a subject must be notable. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects. -- Thesquire (talk - contribs) 08:03, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Running Out @ AfD
It's obvious you have strong feelings about the "Running Out" film project and its associated Wikipedia entry. However, it's counterintuitive for Wikipedia to be an index of things that may, someday, possibly exist. If your enthusiasm is warranted, this film project will be completed, it will be referenced by some third-party source, and achieve enough notability for a future article to be kept. Don't panic, eh?
There are plenty of film-related areas on Wikipedia where you can contribute in the meantime, and I hope you'll take the time to give further contribution to Wikipedia a shot. Cheers :)

[edit] Image Tagging Image:C-\Documents and Settings\Kenneth\My Documents.jpg
|
Thanks for uploading Image:C-\Documents and Settings\Kenneth\My Documents.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] removal of char kway teow picture
didn't understand your edit with regards to that one, especially when the replacement image in question was a nullity, and the original one was perfectly all right. Chensiyuan 23:24, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Need for Speed FAC nomination.
Just as a minor note, your FAC nomination of the Need for Speed article was fixed so that it would be displayed properly in the revelent page. It would helpful to read the instructions provided in the related article, though, to familiarize oneself on how to perform certain tasks in Wikipedia. Cheers. ╫ 25 ◀RingADing▶ 14:44, 1 November 2006 (UTC) ╫
[edit] Manchester United FAC
Hi - by luck I was looking through Special:Recentchanges and noted you had nominated Manchester United F.C. for FAC - however I note you didn't complete the nomination by including it in the main WP:FAC page, so I have done it for you. I have also left comments on your nomination. Hope this is OK. Qwghlm 11:14, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fifth Sequence
A tag has been placed on Fifth Sequence, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable (see the guidelines for notability here). If you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please write {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.
Please read the criteria for speedy deletion (specifically, articles #7) and our general biography criteria. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Chris Kreider 12:39, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fifth Sequence and Delta Rim
Please read the criteria for speedy deletion (specifically, articles #7) and our general biography criteria. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. These bands simply do not qualify as notable. Please stop creating inappropriate pages, or at least explain on the articles talk page why you feel they deserve a page here. --Onorem 13:15, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Notability criteria
Criteria for musicians and ensembles
A musician or ensemble (note that this includes a band, singer, rapper, orchestra, hip hop crew, DJ, musical theatre group, etc.) is notable if it meets any one of the following criteria:
- Has had a charted hit on any national music chart, in at least one large or medium-sized country.
- Has had a record certified gold or higher in at least one large or medium-sized country.
- Has gone on an international concert tour, or a national concert tour in at least one large or medium-sized country, reported in notable and verifiable sources.
- Has released two or more albums on a major label or one of the more important indie labels (i.e. an independent label with a history of more than a few years and a roster of performers, many of which are notable).
- Has been featured in multiple non-trivial published works in reliable and reputable media (excludes things like school newspapers (although university newspapers are usually fine), personal blogs, etc.)
- Contains at least one member who was once a part of or later joined a band that is otherwise notable; note that it is often most appropriate to use redirects in place of articles on side projects, early bands and such.
- Has become the most prominent representative of a notable style or of the local scene of a city; note that the subject must still meet all ordinary Wikipedia standards, including verifiability.
- Has won a major music award, such as a Grammy, Juno or Mercury Music Award.
- Has won or placed in a major music competition.
- Has performed music for a work of media that is notable, e.g. a theme for a network television show. (But if this is the only claim, it is probably more appropriate to have a mention in the main article and redirect to that page.)
- Has been placed in rotation nationally by any major radio network.
- Has been the subject of a half hour or longer broadcast on a national radio network.
