[edit] Too much?
Unless this page is plagiarized (and I have no reason to believe it is -- although it does need to cite its sources), some anonymous editor has done a tremendous amount of research and put a lot of effort into this page -- perhaps too much. I went through making copyedits today. Although I didn't delete much, I was struck by how deeply this general-interest article delves into press equipment, individual biographies and other material tangential to the modern reader's understanding of what the Kenosha News is. This material is probably true; and if so, it's of use to newspaper or Kenosha historians; but I'm not sure it passes the WP:NOTE "notability" standards.
I don't plan to take a hatchet to this article anytime soon (wait a week or so, and I may be tempted....), but I'd like someone more familiar with the subject to go over this article with a fine-toothed comb. Compare the depth of this article with those of well-known newspapers with traditions at least as storied as the Kenosha News -- like The New York Times, The Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, etc. W i k i W i s t a h t / c 16:39, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
