Ken appears to be credible but I'm not sure about the timing of his modified Hubbert model. He is straight lining a projection to running out of oil in the first half of this century, when in fact it will have a "long tail" to actual depletion. During this long tail phase energy costs will continue to rise making everything more expensive and wealth diminish.
