Why was the section about the Israeli consul removed? Is it not noteworthy or is it not true? --JGGardiner 18:46, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ken Dryden quitting hockey in 1973-74

According to the February, 1974 edition of the "Hockey Digest," Dryden quit the NHL in the '73-'74 season because the Montreal Canadiens wouldn't pay him the "going rate" for goaltenders despite having 1 year remaining in his contract. If this is correct, Dryden pursuing a law degree during this time was not the reason he quit, as the wiki article states, but was rather a by-product of him leaving. I don't know if this is something that should be included in the article.
