Kentucky Route 880 is a West to East route that forms a loop around and through the city of Bowling Green.
The route starts at the junction of KY 185 and Gordon Ave. near downtown Bowling Green. From its starting point it runs approximately 4 miles until it co-joins with US 231. This section of the route is known locally as Veterans Memorial Boulevard.
The cojoined route runs another 4 miles until US 231 separates on an eastern track. The cojoined portion of the route runs through one of the main commercial districts of town and is known locally as Campbell Lane. Intersections with the cojoined US 68 /KY 80 and with US 31-W occur along the Campbell Lane section of the route.
After separating from US 231, Route 880 then continues for approxamitely 3.2 miles until reaching it's eastern terminus at KY 234, less than a mile from the Exit 26 Interchange of I-65. This final portion of the route is known locally as Lovers Lane.
Most of Route 880 is a mutliple lane highway, with the exception of the Lovers Lane section.
