[edit] Conferences
KY PBL hosts two conferences a year; one in the fall and one in the spring.
[edit] Fall Leadership Conference
The goal of the Fall Leadership Conference is to expose new members to the organization, and inform all members through informative workshops and roundtable discussions on how they can succeed in PBL, in school and in life. It prepares members for the State Leadership Conference in the spring. This year's Fall Leadership Conference was held September 29 and September 30 at the Executive Inn hotel in Louisville.
[edit] State Leadership Conference
Like Fall Leadership Conference, State Leadership Conference is held every April at the Executive Inn. Members from across the state attend to participate in competitive events covering all aspects of business with the hopes of advancing to the National Leadership Conference. The top competitors in each event are featured on stage at the Closing Session of the State Leadership Conference where they receive plaques. Some events are sponsored, adding an additional award to the top competitors for that event. Members are also given the opportunity vote for the next State Executive Council, but only if their local chapter appoints them to the position of voting delegate at the conference. The next State Leadership Conference will be held on April 20–April 21, 2007.
[edit] State Theme
This year's state theme is "Pass Go! Collect your Future." The state theme is the foundation the conference decorations are based on.

Most members of the PD were once PBL members at some point in time.
[edit] March of Dimes

[edit] 2006–2007 State Chapter Agenda
Each year the state executive council meets in the summer to create policy for the upcoming fiscal year. Most of the policy that is discussed in these meetings is confidential, although themes such as membership, fundraising goals, and conference preparations are common topics.
[edit] Dues
In addition to the national dues of $10, members are also required to pay state dues of $7. Most local chapters in Kentucky also impose their own membership dues in order to pay for local chapter events. Local chapters combine national, state and local dues in to one lump sum in order to avoid confusion. Local chapter dues vary.
