Hikaru Kenshiro (born Mericiano D.F. Lowes), (born on Nov 29, 1980), better known as Mr. Pyro, is a hip hop musician producer, director, entrepreneur with Surinamese (South-American) parents. Pyro is known for his Dynamic performance and sharp delivery. He used to go by his Adoptive Japanese name "Kenshiro" (after Grandmaster Hikaru Katsuo traditionally adopted him as his 3rd son when he became his best student at the age of 13.) and artist name Impact, 'til his group the R&B/Hiphop formation "Ebony Impact" broke up for unknown reasons. One of his fans once called him "Mr.Pyro" after hearing one of his mixtape songs (an underground hit called "Flamespitter"). The name stuck with him and became official when he announced his upcoming (2nd quarter of 2007) album titled: "Let it burn".

Kenshiro was born and raised in Amsterdam, the city of legal drugs and prostitution was exposed to HipHop at the age of 9. He fell in love with it and has been spittin' fire ever since. Lyrics would just come up out of nowhere like a gift from god. While other kids were playing outside, Kenshiro was perfecting his craft on the Mic. going from studio to studio and stage to stage. After being in a few groups he ended up with Ebon-E known from his HIT single Pride & Joy with Beenie-Man as a duo called: Ebony-Impact performing all across Europe rocking the club scene, big venues and Events with up to 15.000 visitors. Many describe their live performance as top entertainment filled with energy. Soon they became a hot item and toured with international stars such as: Destiny's Child, Shola Ama, S.W.V. and Dru Hill. After 2 years Kenshiro wasn't feeling comfortable in the group anymore and they decided to go their separate ways. Kenshiro went through a lot of changes and as a solo artist he could finally focus on the music he fell in love it in the first place. After a 2 year break to build up his company: 3B Music Group (Management / Production / Development for artists) he partnered up with 7 Seas Records in preparation to hit the scene hard with all the heat they been cooking in the kitchen. Kenshiro also own a Film production company and directs music videos every now and then. Even with the success on the business side of things Kenshiro has not reached his ultimate goal as a recording artist so he went back to the lab to cook new heat. Now he's ready to BURN the industry with his new sound. The new image comes with a new alias "Mr.Pyro", Kenshiro's HOT tempered alter ego.
