Ortega has directed the Disney films High School Musical, Hocus Pocus, Newsies and The Cheetah Girls 2. He will be directing the upcoming High School Musical 2. He also directed the music video for Billy Squire's "Rock Me Tonight," and numerous episodes of TV's Gilmore Girls.
